Chris has a Diploma of Health Science in nursing, and Graduate Diploma in counselling. Chris has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. In her early career she worked as a registered nurse in acute care medical/surgical nursing. She went on to work as a remote nurse in rural South Australia. Chris has been employed at Burnside War Memorial for over 15 years. She is a breast care nurse in the Breast and Endocrine Centre and a Chemotherapy Nurse in the Brian Fricker Oncology Unit. Chris has a special interest in counselling, particularly for those coping with a cancer diagnosis.

The Breast & Endocrine Centre continues to focus on your safety.
Anyone with COVID or close contact cannot enter the centre for 7 days and must be asymptomatic when they do return
If you are unwell you should stay away until you are well. It is our duty of care to look after our satff and those patients who are undergoing chemotherapy or are immune compromised.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and have not ndertaken a COVID-19 RAT / PCR test prior to your surgery, this may be cancelled.
For surgery at any Adelaide private hospital, you may be required to undertake a RAT on day of admission at the hospital concerned, please check in with your hospital.
Patients from interstate need to be aware that all hospitals have their own admission requirements which may differ to SA Health advice.
