COVID-19 Update
In view of the latest advice regarding COVID-19 Pandemic, the Directors of the Breast & Endocrine Centre have taken steps to try and protect our patients, our staff, and our radiology colleagues, these steps have been revised today 14th January 2021.
These advice updates change rapidly and if you have any concerns or questions please call us for clarification.
The Greater Brisbane area has been declared a hot spot by SA Health. Anyone coming from that area needs to quarantine for 2 weeks. Anyone already in Adelaide from January 2nd needs a COVID swab. If you are coming from or you or someone with whom you have had contact have visited this area and have an appointment with us, please ring the centre so we can advise what the next step is for you.
Contact tracing is now mandatory at health centres and you will be asked to check in with a QR code on arrival.
As the current situation is fluid and will continue to change, we request that all patients visit the following SA Health link prior to attending the clinic
SA HEALTH CONTACT TRACING - This link includes all the latest information on contact tracing and the locations which are now requiring either isolation, testing or quarantine.
Additionally, If you or someone living with you have returned from overseas or interstate in the past 14 days and are required to self-isolate, or are COVID-19 positive or awaiting results of testing, please do not attend the clinic. Please reschedule your appointment.
If you are unwell in any way but particularly have a cough, sore throat, temperature, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, please do not attend the clinic. Please reschedule you appointment.
Due to physical distancing measures if you have a new diagnosis of cancer, a disability, or require support we are sensitive to your needs and a support person can attend with you.
You will be asked screening questions prior to arrival or upon arrival. You will also be temperature tested upon arrival. Otherwise, all patients please attend on their own.
