COVID-19 Update
At this stage vaccination status will not compromise your care nor preclude us from seeing you.
As South Australia makes changes to the movement of people in and out of the state, the Breast & Endocrine Centre continues to focus on your safety.
Below are the additional measures we have put in place due to changes to boarder restrictions
Anyone with COVID or close contact cannot enter the centre for 14 days and must have a negative PCR.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status will be required to ensure we take the necessary measures to protect our staff and patients.
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms you must undertake a COVID-19 PCR test and receive a negative result within 48 - 72 hours prior to your appointment. You will be required to provide evidence of a negative test prior to / at their appointment
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 and have not undertaken a COVID-19 PCR test prior to your appointment you will have your appointment / surgery cancelled.
For surgery at any Adelaide private hospital, you may be required to undertake a RAT on day of admission at the hospital concerned.
Patients from interstate need to follow the SAPOL COVID Directives - https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/travel/entrycheck-sa and be aware that all hospitals have their own admission requirements which may differ to SA Health advice. Being that hospitals are high risk areas there may be some requirement to wait for surgery as directed.
All support persons must be double vaccinated and will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination at the appointment
